Description
The refined elegance of the Japanese minimalism by Nendo abstracts from the brands stylistic features, in order to reinterpret them in a contemporary light. A rigorous and poetic approach which distills the essence of the design research, where the steam-bent wood expresses only one structural detail, which draws the attention on each element of the SINGLE CURVE COLLECTION: low table in 3 dimensions, stool in three or four legs version (barstool and counter). The barstool, included in the SINGLE CURVE COLLECTION, differs from the other Nendos proposal for a woven cane larger seat and for a four-leg support. The beech structure proposes the steam-bent element in the backrest which continues horizontally.
